Social Blink Tutorials

After you've signed up and selected a subscription plan, follow these steps to add/connect social media accounts to your socialblink account:
1. Navigate to "Connected Accounts" (Account Settings >> Connected Accounts)
Check your Facebook connection status (displayed at the top of the Connected Accounts page), and Make sure you are connected to Facebook with the correct profile (one with correct permissions / roles in order to connect and access data from your Social Media account(s)).
Note! If you are not connected or you are connected with the wrong profile, you can open a new tab in the same browser and connect to Facebook with the correct profile, then refresh the "Connected Accounts" page and check the status again
If this is your first time connecting to Social Blink => You will need to click   Login / Reauthorize to authorize the SocialBlink app and select the Pages / Accounts for which you plan to generate reports and additional services. You must confirm all requested permissions (Note that we request the minimum permissions that will allow us to successfully execute our services for you).
2. Click  + Add connected account
A modal dialog window should pop up, displaying the app authorization status. Make sure that the SocialBlink app is authorized, Example:
Note! If you are not connected or you are connected with the wrong profile, you can open a new tab in the same browser and connect to Facebook with the correct profile, then refresh the "Connected Accounts" page and check the status again
3. Click  + Add Page(s)
After clicking the button you should see a list of the Pages/Accounts that your connected profile has access to.
Next to each page there is an + Add Page - Click the button for each Page/Account that you would like to connect to Social Blink.
The number of Pages/Accounts that can be connected depends on your Service Plan / Subscription
4. Connect an Ad account to a connected Social Page (* Optional)
For each Social Page/Account that you connect to Social Blink you can attach an Ad account. * This feature is not enabled for the free plan
To connect an Ad account to a page: 1. Navigate to "Connected Accounts" (Account Settings >> Connected Accounts). The upper part of the Connected Accounts page will display your Facebook connection status. Make sure you are connected to Facebook with the correct profile (the profile which has access to your Ad Account/s). 2. Scroll to the connected page for which you wish to connect and Ad Account and click Add Account (or Update Account if you wish to change an existing connected Ad Account). A modal dialog window should pop up, displaying all of the Ad Accounts that the connected profile has access to. 3. Click Connect Account to Page next to the account that you wish to connect to the page (* This should be the Ad Account used to promote this page). 4. Define a "Campaign Name Filter" (*Optional) - If you use the same Ad Account to promote multiple Social Media pages, then the only way to differentiate between the chosen page's ads and other page's ads (so only the relevant ads will be displayed in the "Ads Analytics sumary table" of a certain page's social media report) is to:
1 - Keep a consistent and unique naming convention for all campaigns per page in your Ads Manager.
2 - Define this naming convention as a "campaign Name Filter" by entering it into the "Campaign Title Filter" field next to the Ad Account that was added in the previous step and clicking Add Name Filter (or Update Filter if you are updating an existing filter)
For example: If the name of one Social Media page that is promoted with an Ad Account is "BroccoliLovers" and the name of another Social Media page that is also promoted with the same Ad Account is "SurfingIsFun", then you could consistently prefix all of the campaigns for the first page "BroccoliLovers_" (for each campaign that you set up in your Ads Manager. For Example - "BroccoliLovers_April2022_newproductpush") and you could prefix all of the campaigns for the second page "SurfingIsFun_" (Ex. "SurfingIsFun_June2022_competitionpromotion1"), and then you would set "BroccoliLovers_" or just "BroccoliLovers" as a "Campaign Name Filter" for the first connected page in your Social Blink account and you would set "SurfingIsFun_" or just "SurfingIsFun" as a "Campaign Name Filter" for the second connected page in your Social Blink account
When you connect an Ad account to a connected Social Page, you will have the option to add an Ads Analytics table to your monthly Social Media report for that page.
There are two options for receiving Ad Ananlytics for your Ad accounts:
1. Generate an Ad Report
